Jayne Beckett
In the 80s - City & Guilds Creative Studies leading to an interest in and involvement with stitched textiles. A founder member of 'Full Circle' group of textile artists, exhibiting at venues in the UK, and also a member of the 4x4 group, with work exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London and other venues. Current work has developed from an interest in the juxtaposition and mingling of vibrant colours in festival costumes and also from an idea for large felt forms, where 'woolly thinking' is the essential component.
