Joy Weyman-Jones DFA(Lond)
Joy Weyman-Jones studied at The London College of Fashion, at Hornsey College of Art, and graduated from The Slade School of Art. She obtained the Art Teachers Diploma at Leeds, and taught in independent and state secondary schools, mostly in Inner London, until early retirement.   She then taught adults at West Herts College at Watford, Tring and, mostly specialising in Life Drawing and Painting up to City and Guilds standard, at Berkhamsted.

Besides Lifescape her work has been included in exhibitions with The Royal Society of Portrait Painters and The National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers at the Mall Galleries in London, and at The Old Bull Gallery at Barnet. She has had solo exhibitions in Hampstead, at libraries in North Finchley, Hendon Central and Bovingdon, at the Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead, and, within Hertfordshire Artists Open Studios, at the Function Room in 'The Royal Oak' at Chipperfield

In 2005 she was selected to take part in 'About the Chilterns', an exhibition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Chiltern Society, at the Buckinghamshire County Museum, and in 2006 she took part in the 'Women Draw Life' exhibition at John Bligh's gallery in Tring, then at the Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead, and, back at the County Museum, took part in their 'Off The Wall' Art Market.

Her work is offered through the 'Shanti' Gallery in Kings Langley.
